What is the best/cheapest car insurance for high risk drivers?
Maybe Progressive or Geico. Definitely not Allstate or State Farm.
Google SR 22 Insurance and you may have some luck that way.
Are High Rishk Isurance Pools Cheaper.?
My son had a DUI plus speeding tickets (including one he got in New Mexico for 105 in a 70) before he was 21. Hes 27 now, was forced to be in the high risk pool the past six years in his state because no one would insure him (does not live in New Mexico). He WAS high risk. This january was able to get reasonable insurance because he got his act together with no violations for six years. It was expensive.
Does anyone in ontario know what company offers cheap car insurance?
Ask at your bank. I get insurance through my bank and the rates are great, they accept monthly payments (insurance companies dont) and theyre happy to have your business.

The fact is that if you are a high risk car insurance customer, insurnace rates can be very expensive and trying to find the best deal possible can be frustrating. For someone that is classified as high risk the rates can be tow or three times as high as someone how is normal.
The good news is that there is hope, there are various major insurance companies and other smaller ones that have decided to make special programs for people that are considered high risk. Although you rates will still be high they will not be as higher as you think.
You need to also keep in mind that you dont have to be classified as high risk forever you can redeem yourself by using a car insurance policy and show that you are no longer a high risk.
Make sure that you pay on time your new policy every single month, it is very important that you driver carefuly to avoid any accidents, do not take risks, dont drive if you drink alcohol, avoid anything that could make the situation worst.
Follow the laws perfectly and never take any chances, if you do this you may find that your rates will slowly start dropping, but not overnight.
Take your time to find the right policy coverage for you, shop around an compare rates from different companies. Nowadays you can easily get quotes online all you have to do to begin is enter your zip code in the box above this page.
